The school recently held an engaging 3-day ATL (Atal Tinkering Lab) workshop from August 7 to August 9, 2024 in collaboration with Propeller, featuring a renowned expert Mr. K. Prassana B.E, who led students through a series of hands-on sessions focusing on IoT-based projects using the NODE MCU Board. Students learned to automate lighting systems through the Blynk app on their mobile phones, incorporating various sensors such as PIR Motion Detection Sensor, Water Flow Sensor and Flex Sensor. Additionally, insights into Raspberry Pi was provided, expanding the students’ understanding of versatile computing platforms. The event concluded with Dr. P. Bala Shunmuga Devi’s inspiring speech on the value of skills and individual talents. She encouraged students to take pride in their achievements and unique abilities. The ceremony culminated with the distribution of certificates, honoring the participants’ dedication and accomplishments throughout the workshop.
