SPARK – CARE FOR YOUR MIND STD – XI

On October 10th, Thursday our 11th standard students attended a thought-provoking spark meeting titled “Care for Your Mind,” conducted by Mrs. Stella Jenkins. The interactive session emphasized the importance of mental health and self-care, exploring practical strategies for building resilience, managing stress and anxiety, and cultivating positive relationships. She also delved into the impact of social media on mental well-being, highlighting concerns such as cyberbullying, comparison culture, and decreased face-to-face interaction. She encouraged students to maintain a healthy online presence, limiting screen time, and promoting authentic connections. Through engaging discussions and thought-provoking questions, she encouraged students to prioritize their well-being, fostering a supportive environment for open sharing. The session sparked meaningful conversations, empowering students to take care of their mental health, navigate social media responsibly, and recognize that “taking care of our mental health is just as essential as taking care of our physical health,” leaving a lasting impact on the students.
