On October 16, 2023, the birth anniversary of Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam was widely observed as a gesture of respect for the former Indian president and missile expert. A.Athi Sankara Sundar of STD – VIII disguised himself as Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam and interacted with the students. B.Vishvajith, student of STD – VIII spoke about the great man’s sacrifices, commitment, and resolve. S.P.Sai Rakshan of STD – II recited a Tamil Poem about Dr.A.P.J.Abdul Kalam.
The Global day of handwashing is celebrated to raise awareness and understanding of the value of simple, low-cost method of disease prevention and life preservation. The seven processes of hand washing were demonstrated in detail by Ms.N.Padma Shilpa and Mrs.S.Rajam along with two student volunteers on 16.10.2023.
