“Small actions by young minds can create big energy savings.”

          The Energy Club was inaugurated on 22nd January 2026 through an online meeting organized by Learning Links Foundation (LLF), in collaboration with Shell NXplorers, for six selected Atal Tinkering Lab (ATL) schools in Thoothukudi district. The virtual launch was inaugurated through a video address by Mr. Deepak Bagla, Mission Director, Atal Innovation Mission (India). Dr. Anjali Prakash, Founder and Chairperson of Learning Links Foundation, spoke about sustainability and the importance of saving energy in daily life. The session was supported by Ms. Neha N. Chauhan, CSR Head of Shell, who encouraged students to participate in energy-related projects with proper guidance and support. As part of the programme, ten students were selected as Energy Club members, and at the end of the session, all students took a pledge to save energy and follow eco-friendly practices, marking a meaningful beginning for the Energy Club in the school.
