“A Healthy Smile Begins with Healthy Habits!”

K.V.S. Matric. Hr. Sec. School, Thoothukudi, organized “Dental Care Day” on Wednesday, 08.07.2026 for students of LKG to Std V.The program was conducted with the aim of creating awareness about oral hygiene and healthy dental habits among young children. The theme for the day was “A Healthy Smile Begins with Healthy Habits!”Students participated in various activities including a demonstration on the correct method of brushing teeth, tips for maintaining healthy gums, and the importance of regular dental check-ups. The young learners enjoyed the interactive session and took a pledge to brush twice daily and avoid excessive sweets. The school believes that instilling good health habits at an early age leads to a lifetime of wellness.
