On 4th February 2025, our school conducted a SPARK meeting on the topic Cyber Safety for STD VIII students, with Mr. Rajadurai as the resource person. He explained the risks associated with social networking platforms like Facebook and Instagram, online games, and learning apps, emphasizing how hackers can steal personal information. He highlighted the importance of utilizing privacy settings in all apps and advised students to use them carefully. He warned against sharing personal details with unknown individuals and discussed cyberbullying, its consequences, and ways to prevent it. Additionally, he covered topics such as morphing and spam and provided students with the cybercrime helpline number for reporting online threats.
